All three of the Library's publicly-accessible computers are connected to the Internet through a high-speed cable modem. Members may conduct searches, send and receive e-mail or just "surf the web".

 


To access the Internet, click on the Internet Explorer icon on the desktop.

Not Here! Click on the desktop.

The IE web browser will open at the American Library's Website.

If you want to conduct a search for a subjet or a site, click on the "Hot Stuff" button as shown below.

The "Hot Stuff" page contains a number of useful links.
At the top of the page there is a section called "Search Engines".

Click on one of these links to search the Web.

 

The Library's computers are not terminals. They are complete PCs featuring many commonly used applications. Library members may use these machines free of charge. However, there is a charge for printing  (1 Franc per page).
